Here at Tanglefoot Lodge you will find a warm, intimate and personal space where the primary teaching is mindfulness. Ashtanga Yoga , Hatha Yoga, Shamanic Studies and Holistic healing modalities are the primary teachings at Tanglefoot Lodge. Each retreat, each class is suited for all levels of practice, and offers both the fundamentals of Asanas to Satsung teachings.
Yoga is an individual practice to be honoured at all times within ones self. All our classes and programs are roots of the Ayruvadic modalities, promoting inner health and well being. The core teachings of Tanglefoot Lodge are an integration of Eastern culture teachings, focusing on the conscious experiences that make up life itself. These are the traditional teachings of Yoga, brought onto the mat through Asanas, meditation, breath work. We teach only what we know and so we live with the knowledge that we are all student and teachers of life, and invite you to experience the vast teachers available to you each and every moment, on and off the mat.
