Hotel Goldener Berg is situated right on the ski piste of the vast Arlberg skiing area (220 km groomed pistes, 240 km off piste skiing) and in summer right in the trekking area of this great place. Situated high above Lech our guests enjoy the peace and calm of the mountains as well as a magnificent view over the roof tops of Lech.
Goldener Berg is very well known for his great kitchen (praised every year with hats from Gault Millau) and one of the largest wine cellars in Austria (over 900 different wines). All rooms are newly renovated and present an alpine chic. Children are well taken care of in the all day child care, while the parents enjoy an afternoon off in the Alpin Spa. This offers different saunas, an outside Jacuzzi, an indoor pool, an area for beauty-, massage- and peeling treatments on the highest level and with the hotels own beautyligne “almstern”.
Our philosophy is to bring our guests into our beautiful nature and our nature into our hotel. We grant this with products only from local farmers in our kitchen, our home made products like “almstern”, only stone and wood inside. For us it is the most important thing to welcome every guest as a member of our family. Mostly we succeed!

The Alpine Spa in the Gourmethotel Goldener Berg draws you closer to the tremendous healing power of the mountains around you. With 500 square metres of floor space, the new spa is constructed exclusively from local materials like the Arlberg granite and local spruce. Our new, top class, Alpine Spa and beauty area, equipped with all the modern facilities is ready to offer nature's best for body & soul!
Lie back in the rocky pond fed by fresh spring water and look out at our own mountain - the "Omeshorn". Relax your tired muscles in the spacious Alpine Spa area with: Finnish sauna, organic sauna, steam bath, herbal steam springs. The mud from the local moor vitalises the body, as minerals draw swellings and pain from joints and muscles. Stretch out on heated rock and enjoy the soothing powers of the earth. The professional body and beauty treatment is also based on the local, natural products of the company "Thalo". For massage local goat?s milk oil is used. The purification baths contain local minerals and /or herbs from the Mohenfluh. The haypack used was once a part of the summer flower meadow around Goldenen Berg and the mud pack is a product of the local moor.
Warm up in our spacious gym before skiing or find rest and relaxation in our panoramic outdoor pool, enjoying the view with a glass of champagne, or herbal tea - just as you like. The grotto of tranquillity and peace, with it's music and light therapy, contributes to your time-out, and the mountains, the fresh air and the altitude play their own role in your regeneration. Without much movement, the body produces more red blood cells (which carry oxygen) and these also carry more oxygen than usual (according to an AMAS medical study recently undertaken in Arlberg).
