Treatments at the Spa are focused around the four key areas of anti-ageing, detox, rejuvenation and diet. The experienced health and therapy staff will consult with each guest and develop a personalised program of treatments and fitness activities. Treatments can be tailor-made to concentrate on massage, golf-related exercise, diet and nutrition. Treatments such as facials and body wraps take inspiration from the island, using local ingredients such as blood oranges, lemons, volcanic mud and Sicilian seawater.
At 4,000 square meters, the Spa is one of the largest in Europe. Like the rest of the resort, it is an architecturally stunning building, comprised of a series of pavilions that open onto a light-filled courtyard. There are 11 treatment rooms and outdoor treatment spaces; a glass-walled, state-of-the-art gym with a complete range of equipment; a relaxation area; a yoga room; a double-height Hamm am, experience showers and sauna. It has its own four thalassic therapy pools for invigorating treatments, and a 20-meters lap pool for serious swimmers. A separate beauty area offers hairdressing, manicures and pedicures. The Spa Bar will serve fresh organic juices and nutritionally balanced meals.
