Lasallehaus, Bad Schönbrunn

The hilly moraine field above the Lorze Valley used to be called "beautiful source". In 1929 the Jesuit Community has taken over the former health resorts to be used for spiritual exercises and retreats. In 1970 the new building housed religious and general courses for for further education. Following the "harmonical method of construction" the architect, André Studer, created a building to fit into the source landscape. The simplicity and clarity of the architecture surrounded by a splendid park, make Schönbrunn an oasis, a halt conducing/inviting reflection.
