LOOM Chiang Mai
Every cloth begins twice. Once on the loom, thread by thread, under one pair of hands.
Once under a leaf.
The leaf is laid on the organic cotton and gives up its shape. Its veins, its edges, its season. Then it is gone. What stays is an imprint that cannot be made again, not by us, not by anyone.
We work slowly because the hand has its own speed. One weaver. One loom. One length at a time. A cloth takes the days it takes.
The cotton is fine and soft and falls close to the skin. Nothing here is printed.Â
No two pieces are alike. Yours will be the only one.
CHIANG MAI, HANDWOVEN
One Leaf
No ink. No screen. No repeat. A leaf is laid on the cloth, gives up its colour, and is gone. Its exact shape stays.
One Weaver
Organic cotton on a wooden loom, in the hills above Chiang Mai. One weaver, one length at a time. A cloth takes the days it takes.
One Piece
Fine, soft, close to the skin. Every piece exists once. The one you choose will not exist a second time.
ONE OF A KIND
Cloth remembers what the forest forgets.
