The Almarena Wellness Club and Spa opened recently as a dedicated sanctuary, described by the property as a place where ocean, air, earth and intentional movement come together in quiet balance. The Temazcal is guided by a trained shaman: the ancestral pre-Hispanic steam ritual with volcanic rocks, intense heat and ceremonial intention in a brick dome. Sound bath healing, breathwork and cacao ceremony extend the ritual dimension of the wellness offer. Dry sauna with Himalayan salt bands, cold plunge and a Zen Lounge provide the thermal contrast sequence. The fitness infrastructure, across 1,550 square feet with Pacific views, is built around functional strength and mobility rather than equipment volume. Spa services cover massage, facials and body treatments. The daily rituals programme, which begins with freshly brewed local coffee delivered to the room as the desert light warms the horizon, gives each morning a texture of intentional arrival.

The Caracara restaurant supplies itself from the property’s own organic farm and herb garden, and the kitchen’s commitment to local and seasonal Baja ingredients gives the dining experience a regional specificity that most Pacific Mexico resorts do not achieve. Horseback rides leave from the on-site stables across the dunes and along the beach at sunset.
